Petra helps to build children’s ministry capacity with leaders and children’s workers of Churches, Families, Organisations, Communities and Networks.  In partnership, we train and mentor for life those who have God’s heart for children within their denominations / organisations.  We form partnerships with your leadership in your Province and countrywide, doing this specifically so that we can form a training team with those who are called, have God’s heart for children and see the benefits of long term children’s ministry.  They can be trained up and then after initial training we put them through our TOT’s – Training of Trainers.  With this way of training, the denomination is equipped and children’s ministry capacity is built, one training team is formed who begin to train others, thus multiplying the children’s ministry training and forming further teams within your denomination / children’s ministry.  OUR STRENGTH IS WORKING TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THE KINGDOM.  MORE CAN BE DONE TOGETHER THAN ON OUR OWN !!

Petra’s training philosophy is that we first train you, you train a few people and then they begin to train others, so that within your Church, denomination and community your children’s ministry capacity is strengthened and increased.  Your Church and you (And eventually your team) own the training and take full responsibility for children’s ministry, but you then have the tools to train others within your area, the Eastern Cape and further afield if the Lord calls you to.  We walk alongside you, you use our material and train on our behalf.
